Job Description:

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join the team at Alibi Games. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant start-up environment, where creativity and passion for indie games are at the forefront of everything we do.

As a Product Marketing Manager, working closely with the rest of the Alibi team, you will play a key role in the execution of marketing strategies across our slate of upcoming releases. In the role, you will be responsible for a range of marketing activities, including creator/press management, community campaigns and management of social channels. This position is ideal for someone who’s looking to broaden their skills within indie game marketing, work as part of a small collaborative team, and is eager to contribute their own ideas to release campaigns.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, and the ideal candidate would need to be based in the UK and be available to work from our Chiswick (London, UK) office at least once a week.

Responsibilities:

Building and executing key social, creator and community marketing campaigns
Managing relationships with key content creators, press and other stakeholders across different platforms and markets
Working with internal and external teams to generate and distribute marketing materials
Managing product and brand social channels
Defining and managing presence in online and physical showcases
Create marketing content e.g. blog posts, video updates, promotional images

Requirements:

2+ years previous experience in marketing within the video game industry
Understanding of major platforms for gaming communities, including Steam Forums, Discord, YouTube, TikTok, and similar
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and manage several projects or initiatives at once
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make creative decisions based on data-driven research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Abilityto work effectively in a small team while making independent decisions within a supportive environment.
Passion for and knowledge of the indie gaming space and platforms

Desirables:

Has previously led on successful marketing campaigns, from ideation through to execution for an indie Publisher or Developer
Degree-level education or equivalent in marketing, business, games or another relevant field
Fluency in 1 or more additional languages is a plus but not essential.
