What You’ll Do: As an Arts Program Assistant at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, you’ll be a key part of planning and running exciting arts programs for youth ages 6-18. From visual and performing arts to culinary and literary adventures, you’ll help create a vibrant space for creativity and self-expression.

Responsibilities Include

Leading and assisting in a variety of arts programming such as visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts.
Organizing fun trips, events, and special activities for youth.
Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe environment throughout the program.
Collaborating with other departments and clubs to create exciting, cross-functional events.
Helping assess and improve the impact of our programs through regular evaluation.
Supporting and mentoring youth to develop their creative skills, while providing guidance and discipline when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Experience in leading youth arts programs—whether visual, performing, culinary, or literary.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working with diverse youth and families.
CPR/FA certification (or willingness to obtain it).
A team player who is flexible, creative, and eager to have fun while making a difference.

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:30p-7:30p

Compensation: Pay Range Depending on Relevant Experience & Internal Equity.
