Your mission
We are Vertigo Games, developers and publishers of top-end VR titles like Metro Awakening, Arizona Sunshine, After the Fall and The 7th Guest. Our Amsterdam studio has started development of our next VR game, following Metro Awakening, and we are looking to recruit a UI/UX Artist who can aid us in our mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and create UI assets like backgrounds, buttons, icons, graphics etc.
- Implement 2D, 3D, and animated UI assets in the game engine.
- Co-own the design of the UX with the designers, from wireframe to product.
- Iterate the UI in response from the art and design leadership.
- Consistently meet project deadlines in a timely manner without compromising artistic integrity and respecting technical constraints.
Your profile
- Experience in 2D and 3D content creation for UIs for mobile devices.
- You are highly versatile and able to adapt to different visual styles.
- You are a creative & methodical thinker.
- Great understanding of UI and UX design principles like priority, weight, form, color etc.
- You are an effective communicator, both written and verbal, in English.
Bonus points for
- Working knowledge of rapid prototyping and validating designs through testing.
- Experience with spatial UI/UX design.
- Passionate about games with an ability to analyze competitive products for their strengths and weaknesses.
- 3D modeling or animation skills.
- Concept art skills.
