The Artist Management Coordinator's main responsibility is to support the Artist Management team along with the overall artist/crew community at DTVA. This role will provide administrative support in various aspects from report creation, tracking internal movements, scheduling meetings, taking notes, and coordinating Artist Management events. A big part of this role is to help create a positive environment that fosters the growth of employees and the overall well-being of studio culture. In addition, the Coordinator will be heavily involved with supporting all programmatic initiatives within Artist Management.
Responsibilities:
• Programmatic Support:
• Partner with the Artist Manager and Production Management with scheduling artist evaluation meetings with Creative Leadership at the end of each season, taking notes and managing the master calendar. Help to identify areas of training, if applicable.
• Support Artist Management with the coordination of programs such as:
• Mentorship Program
• Internship Program
• Craft Group events
• Classes
• Check-in's
• TVA Talks
• Document/Department organization:
• Ensure that Artist Management internal database is up to date with accurate data regarding crew assignments
• Ensure full organization of Artist Management server, inclusive of:
• Portfolios
• Reports
• Resumes
• Reporting and Tracking:
• Support the Artistic Management team with the creation of specific documents and reports used for tracking artist's casting and scheduling
• Assist the Artistic Management team with Creative Leadership and Artist transfers between series (scheduling meetings, moves and database entries)
• Administrative Support
• Assist Artist Managers with communication from Onboarding by connecting new hires with their assigned Artist Manager via email
• Assist Artist Managers by keeping the department calendar updated and scheduling as requested
• Artist Recruitment Partnership:
• Partner with Artist Recruitment on needs for industry events specifically Lightbox and CTN coordination
• Partner with Artist Recruitment for any Onboarding assistance, as needed
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience in a Production environment
• Working knowledge of animation production
• Mac or PC proficient
• Knowledgeable use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to design and create professional-quality presentations and internal communications using Photoshop and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with databases and asset management systems
• Ability to establish priorities independently, multi-task efficiently, and work with diverse personalities and all levels of management in a high-pressure environment
• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to develop and foster relationships with artists as well as internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid follow-through on multiple projects
Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $52,000.00 to $71,300.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
