We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Freelance Producer to join our Dark Burn Creative team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing production workflows, ensuring seamless communication, and delivering high-quality results for our clients.
Please note this position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Manages the overall business operations and project management of the account
• Prepare and circulate project estimates for internal approvals.
• Ensures schedules are aligned with available resources.
• Serve as the primary production liaison to the Accounts.
• Attend all production-related meeting with clients.
• Manage Dark Burn resourcing and project management.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Ensures work is done to the highest level of quality, on time and within budget.
• Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding project timelines and goals.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, including schedules, milestones, and issues encountered.
ABOUT YOU:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience producing video trailers or advertising assets in entertainment or gaming required. Gameplay trailers are preferred.
• Post production workflow experience preferred.
• Video and photo editing skills are a plus (knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc. is a plus).
• Experience managing teams and using project management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Team, Slack, Airtable
• Strong passion for video games and a good understanding of gaming culture.
• Proficiency with video games, video, and static digital assets specifications and nomenclature.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Available to work long hours when needed, especially under tight deadlines.

COMPENSATION:
Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly). Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.
