You are:
A natural born elevated visual designer with deep executable skills in all Creative Cloud software. You work quickly, intelligently, strategically, and have an extremely good eye and extremely great taste.
The Role
You will create visually engaging and cohesive designs that communicate a brand's message, enhance its identity, and achieve campaign objectives. Your strategic design and creative output will bridge strategy and execution, focusing on aesthetics, user experience, and brand consistency across various media. You will be responsible for comprehending a brief and delivering 3 strong conceptual directions to meet the brief’s goals, with clear strategy and the visual solution to meet the objectives. You will create adcepts, mockups, mood boards, storyboards, support on set (if applicable), support post-production graphic and visual work, and help with retouching and editing notes. You will support creative development from start to finish. As a full service agency, you will provide visual design support for brand development, packaging design, still life UCC, on model UCC, CGI UCC, 3D Motion Graphics, social assets, UX/UI for websites/digital environments, events and spatial experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Development
1)Â Â Â Â Collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, and strategists to brainstorm and develop visual concepts for advertising campaigns.
2)    Translate campaign ideas into visual frameworks that align with the brand’s identity and goals.
3)Â Â Â Â Prepare mood boards, style guides, shot wish lists or prototypes, via super strong swipes or sketches to communicate the visual direction of a project.
Brand Identity and Design Systems
1)Â Â Â Â Create or maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in logo use, typography, color palettes, and other visual elements.
2)    Develop new visual elements that align with or enhance the client’s brand identity.
3)    Ensure that designs align with the client’s overall marketing strategy and target audience.
Design Execution
1)Â Â Â Â Design a wide range of assets for print, digital, and social media, for: Social media graphics, Banner ads, Posters and billboards, Packaging, Email templates, Website or app interfaces, Presentation decks
2)Â Â Â Â Execute or work with motion designers or animators to create dynamic visual video ads, GIFs, or interactive graphics.
Collaboration and Teamwork
1)Â Â Â Â Collaborate with UX/UI designers, web developers, and production teams to ensure visuals are effectively integrated into digital platforms.
2)Â Â Â Â Work closely with photographers, illustrators, and videographers to source or create custom imagery and assets.
3)Â Â Â Â Participate in client meetings to present designs, gather feedback, and refine work based on input.
Campaign Adaptation
1)Â Â Â Â Adapt designs to different platforms and formats, ensuring they maintain visual impact across, Mobile and desktop, Print and digital media Static and interactive formats
2)Â Â Â Â Ensure designs meet technical specifications and comply with platform requirements (e.g., file sizes, resolutions, aspect ratios).
Problem-Solving and Innovation
1)Â Â Â Â Use creativity to overcome design challenges, such as balancing brand guidelines with fresh, innovative approaches.
2)Â Â Â Â Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and techniques to bring cutting-edge visuals to campaigns.
3)Â Â Â Â Proactively find solutions to ensure projects are visually compelling while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Quality Assurance
1)Â Â Â Â Conduct quality checks on final designs, ensuring accuracy in layouts, text, colors, and technical specifications.
2)Â Â Â Â Prepare files for handoff to production teams, printers, or developers, ensuring all elements meet technical standards.
Data-Driven Design
1)Â Â Â Â Use data and insights (e.g., campaign performance metrics or audience preferences) to refine visuals for better engagement or conversion rates.
2)Â Â Â Â A/B test designs to determine which visuals perform better in advertising campaigns.
Strategic Input
1)Â Â Â Â Provide visual recommendations during the strategic planning process, ensuring the creative direction supports business goals.
2)Â Â Â Â Identify opportunities for visual storytelling to enhance campaign narratives or messages.
Practical stuff we anticipate you having
- Two (2) or more years of experience practicing or being a visual designer at an agency or leading/high-profile brand. (or for the exceptional top 1% of their graduating from a leading design/art school.)
- Proven ability to develop successful concepts
- Proficiency in co-collaborating with a team of diverse, talented creatives
- Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives
·      Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
·      Expert knowledge of AI resources, tools, trends to optimize and advance creative development
·      Expert knowledge of Gsuite, and Microsoft Office, keynotes
·      Expert knowledge of the full services provided at the agency
·      Expert knowledge of asset management tools and project management tools, Dropbox, Monday.com, and #slack. (smartsheets is optional)

Key Things to Know
- This is a full-time Independent Contractor Position.
·      Onboarding takes 30 days. You are expected to show promise and your difference by month 2.
- This is a NYC role. Must work from our office with remote work flexibility as you wish, yet being in the office is and on set and shoots is 90% of the role.
