Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Studio to lead and manage our gaming projects and teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the gaming industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating engaging and innovative gaming experiences. As a Head of Studio, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire game development process, from concept to release, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with various other departments to ensure that all aspects of the game are aligned with the company's vision and goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and for fostering a creative and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire game development process from concept to release.
- Lead and manage a team of game developers, mathematicians, artists, and other professionals.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a creative and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead meetings and presentations.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and records.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the development process.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all game content.
- Drive innovation and creativity in game design and development.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry.
- Proven track record of successful game development.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of game design principles and processes.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
