We are looking for an Art Teacher as part of our After School activities. This is a part-time position, 4 to 5 hours per week. The selected candidate would teach students from Lower School (ages 3 to 11). This is an immediate need.
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team in our Afterschool Program. As an Art Teacher, you will inspire and instruct students in various art forms, fostering their creativity and artistic skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement art curriculum that meets educational standards
- Instruct students on principles of art and techniques in various mediums
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their artistic abilities
- Organize and oversee art projects and exhibitions
- Maintain a well-equipped and organized art classroom/studio
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across different subjects
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is required
- Knowledge or experience in tutoring, sports coaching, theater, babysitting, camp counseling, or early childhood education is a plus
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is beneficial
- Strong classroom management skills
- Understanding of childhood development principles

5 students at the minimum: $60 per hour
6-9 students: $70 per hour
10+ students: $80 per hour
