Bucketsquad is a fast-growing basketball apparel brand dedicated to creating clothing and products loved by basketball athletes and fans of the sport. We're building a movement that celebrates basketball culture and are founded and led by YouTube’s largest basketball creator, Jesser (23M subscribers, 2x Streamy Sports Creator of the Year).
Role Overview
The Apparel Graphic Designer will play a critical role in creating concepts and designs for all planned product releases. They will have the opportunity to help build and influence Bucketsquad's creative direction and brand language.
Responsibilities
- Develop concepts and create finalized designs under the direction of a Merchandise Designer.
- Incorporate feedback from design reviews while maintaining critical timelines.
- Prepare and export designs and technical packs for production, adhering to required specifications and standards.
- Monitor project progress, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Consistently produce high-quality, relevant graphics and design concepts.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail with minimal errors.
- Research and identify fashion and graphic design trends, applying them appropriately to various product categories.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, specifically for creating apparel graphics.
- 3+ years of experience creating tech packs for production.
- Understanding of best practices for designing graphics for apparel and adjacent product.
- Basic knowledge of screen printing and embroidery production limitations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take a design brief and deliver creative, aligned results.
- Skilled in articulating design concepts and graphics to non-merchandise teams.
- Proactive learner with a willingness to research, ask questions, and adapt.
- Flexibility to work weekends or outside regular business hours when necessary, with prior notice.
