About the Role
As a Junior Designer / Artworker, you’ll play a key supporting role in the creative production process, assisting senior team members with the technical and creative delivery of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop their skills, gain experience across a range of clients, and learn from a team of experienced designers and artworkers.
You’ll work on a variety of tasks, from preparing artwork for final delivery to organizing digital assets, while building a strong foundation in quality control and brand consistency. With guidance and mentorship, you’ll refine your technical skills and contribute to the smooth execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior artworkers and designers in creating and refining artwork for print and digital projects.
- Work on a variety of design projects, from social media graphics and web assets to print materials and presentation designs.
- Help ensure assets meet brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Support the team in conducting file checks and preparing artwork for final delivery.
- Learn to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency throughout the production process.
- Help organize and manage digital assets to maintain efficient workflows.
- Assist with updates to shared Creative Cloud Libraries and other client-specific resources.
- Work closely with senior artworkers and designers to interpret briefs and ensure the delivery of polished outputs.
- Follow guidance from senior team members while actively participating in team discussions and reviews.
- Provide support in rolling out campaign assets under the direction of senior creatives.
- Assist with tasks such as preparing logo suites, adapting campaign visuals, and managing colour breakdowns for various media formats.
- Learn best practices for creating accessible designs, ensuring visual elements are inclusive and usable for diverse audiences.
- Take the opportunity to learn new techniques and software tools from senior team members through assisted mentorship.
- Stay up to date with design trends and advancements to continuously improve your skills.
Skills & Experience
- 1 - 3 years experience
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); PowerPoint skills are a plus.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in artwork production.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a team environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks under supervision.
- A basic understanding of design principles and brand guidelines, with a willingness to develop further.
