We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Producer to join our band of creative storytellers! At Layer, we specialize in producing high-quality promotional content for the video game industry. Our expertise lies in capturing the essence of each game, creating engaging content that resonates with audiences and enhances the game's market presence.
In this role, you’ll take charge of managing a variety of creative productions from concept to final delivery, ensuring every milestone is met with precision. You'll keep projects running smoothly by creating and maintaining timelines, budgets, briefs, and other essential planning materials. Your organizational skills will shine as you manage schedules, update project files, and maintain communication systems like Slack, AirTable, and Google Workspace.
You’ll also play a key role in quality control, creative resourcing, and client management, developing strong relationships and showcasing our commitment to producing standout work. Along the way, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing various projects, including Game trailers, video marketing assets, digital banners, key art, etc…
- Assist Sr. Producer and COO in management of larger retainer clients
- Responsible for project managing various productions from creative development to final delivery, including meeting key milestones and deliverable dates.
- Create and maintain project planning materials such as, project timelines, burn reports, briefs, budgets and presentations.
- Assist with maintaining internal project management systems, entering new resource requests and new project requests, and updating calendars and schedules.
- Own the scheduling of meetings, draft agendas and take notes during recurring meetings.
- Keep all project files up to date and organized utilizing various project management and communication systems such as Slack, AirTable, Google Docs and Google Calendar.
- Manage the QC and final delivery of all project deliverables per the client's agreed-upon timeline.
- Support in managing creative resources. Identify and problem-solve any potential bottlenecks in workflow. Manage overall time allocated for each individual project. Communicate timing, and changes of timing, to project owners.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities to create memorable moments and showcase our creative commitment.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in developing and executing creative productions. Creative agency and gaming experience are a plus.
- Have a unique disposition for project organization, budgets, creativity and understand how to work collaboratively across creative, vendor and account management disciplines.
- Self-starter who can effectively meet all deadlines by independently prioritizing tasks across multiple projects and anticipating needs.
- Efficient organizational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to self-motivate and manage are essential.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal & external studios, vendors, internal teams, and other critical resources
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to represent the company effectively in client interactions.
- Applicants must be local to the Bay Area and willing to commute to our Redwood City office.

You must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered for this role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and also depends on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
