Markarian, a luxury fashion brand specializing in bridal and ready-to-wear collections, is seeking a talented
Freelance Illustrator/Print Designer for project-based work. We are looking for a designer with a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, original designs.
This is a remote position, but preference will be given to candidates located in the New York City area for potential in-person collaboration. However, we welcome applications from qualified designers based elsewhere.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to create custom illustrations and print designs.
- Develop prints tailored for textiles, ensuring designs align with the Markarian aesthetic.
- Provide sketches, digital renderings, and final artwork for production use.
- Communicate regularly with the team to meet deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in illustration and print design.
- Experience working with textiles or knowledge of textile design processes preferred.
- Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong artistic skills and a portfolio showcasing previous illustration/print design work.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Location: Remote (Preference for NYC-area applicants, but open to candidates located elsewhere)
