Cold Symmetry is looking for an experienced Rigger / Technical Animator to join our team. This role focuses on refining and enhancing character setups in Unreal Engine, complementing our existing animation workflows as we prepare for upcoming milestones.
We’re seeking someone with a deep understanding of Unreal Engine character setups and a knack for solving complex technical animation challenges. If you’re passionate about elevating animation quality and enjoy collaborating with creative teams, we’d love to hear from you.
You'll Own
- Polish and improve current character rigs to ensure seamless animation workflows.
- Perform full character setups in Unreal Engine, including skinning, rigging, and troubleshooting.
- Refine cloth setups and simulations, addressing bugs and enhancing overall visual quality.
- Collaborate with animators and artists to ensure technical animation solutions meet creative goals.
- Tackle skinning polish and optimize character setups for performance and quality.
Your XP and Skills
- Strong expertise in Unreal Engine, with extensive experience in character rigging, cloth simulation, and troubleshooting technical animation challenges.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine tools and workflows, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, especially in rigging and technical animation.
