As a Senior Animator you will be
- Creating key frame animation as well as working with motion capture data for in-game assets while following the given style guide of our exciting co-dev projects.
- Ensuring timely completion of animation commitments at the desired quality bar.
- Partnering with designers, programmers and other departments involved.
- Mentoring more junior members of the team
- Together with the Art Lead setting standards for the animation work, building animation systems
- Taking part in the production meetings representing the animation project team and reporting on the plans, achievements and difficulties
- Working in close collaboration throughout different departments to assure propriety implementation of animations within game engines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivering quality player locomotion for AAA PC/Console FPS or TPS games.
- At least 5 years of experience in game development with:
- animating lively characters and creatures
- working with motion capture and keyframe animation
- working in-engine and implementing animations into locomotion systems
- Using Autodesk Maya
- working in Unreal Engine 5/4
- rigging and being able to build a new rig for a character from scratch
- mentoring the less experienced members of the team
- English proficiency at least at B2 level
The ideal candidate will also have
- Experience with mGear
- Scripting (MEL/Python) experience
