Who We’re Looking For:
Wild Places is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative professional looking to develop their skills in branding and visual identity design while working in a dynamic agency environment. The Junior Designer will collaborate closely with our creative team, assisting in the execution of compelling brand identities for a diverse range of clients. This position requires strong design fundamentals, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced creative agency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of brand identities, logos, and visual assets for a variety of clients.
- Collaborate and execute on a wide range of designed assets for retainer and sprint clients within the scope and purview of Wild Places clients.
- Work closely with senior designers and creative directors to refine and execute design concepts.
- Prepare presentation decks, mockups, and client deliverables.
- Maintain brand consistency across different projects and platforms.
- Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including social media graphics, print collateral, and web assets.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and, at times, directly with clients.
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to projects.
- Take feedback constructively and apply revisions efficiently.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of professional design experience, preferably in branding, visual identity, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing branding, typography, layout, and design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Ability to take creative direction and translate concepts into high-quality design work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with excellent attention to detail.
