Writing at Night School Studio
Every experience made by Night School is built on a foundation of solid game design that harmoniously unfolds through immersive worlds, rich characters, and flavorful details which our Writing team is responsible for weaving throughout the player’s journey at every turn. The Writing Department is tasked with outlining satisfying narratives as well as scripting all the dialogue and directing the story’s beats with level designers. Creating and empowering player choice, developing emotionally-driven character moments, inventing personalities that feel real, and directing actors in voice-over sessions all fall within the scope of Writing’s duties. Night School’s writers consider it an immense responsibility and privilege to be on the forefront of inventing what’s possible in video game storytelling – a bar we enthusiastically aim to keep pushing to new heights.
