About the Role:
As a Graphic Designer, you will support our Director, Creative, and Art Director to drive creative work forward, gather relevant inspiration, generate multiple ideas, and design executions for various campaigns and programs, including but not limited to in-store/VM, OOH advertising, web/email, and video. Reporting to the Director, Creative, this role will support the overall ideation and execution of marketing briefs, ensuring consistency of the OLAPLEX brand identity across all consumer touch points.
Responsibilities:
- Concept and execute design and branding elements for digital, social, in-store, video & print
- Craft and deliver presentations and deliverables that provide clarity and impact
- Create innovative graphic design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing strategies across multiple channels - both print and digital
- Able to pull together and synthesize visual, verbal, and research to identify relevant themes & trends
- Ideate brand ideas, strategies, and design solutions that are relevant to consumers, culture, and satisfy business objectives
- Create of typographic and branding systems
- Build collaborative relationships within creative and cross-functional teams
- Prepare, package, and spec files for projects
About You:
- 2-3 years of design experience
- BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Visual Communication Design
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and XD
- Mastery of design fundamentals, including strong typographic skills, with experience spanning both traditional print and digital design
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate and work with a variety of people in various disciplines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge and experience in retail, hair/beauty/fashion and an understanding of current industry trends
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
