Job Title: Art Instructor Children’s Academy
Full/Part Time: Part-Time (Summer only); July 7-August 22, 2025
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Campus: Brooklyn
Reports To: Camp Director
Supervises: Campers ages 3-12
Rate: $35-40/hour
Principal Responsibilities
Art Instructor provides best-in-class, educational/fitness-minded programming for children ages 6-12. They organize, instruct and implement safe, fun and entertaining activities.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Constructs and implements lesson plans
- Engages in educational based activities and skills
- Prepares and sets up for class and supports the transfer of kids to and from programming
- Cleans up and restocks after each class
Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 12 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to demonstrate and participate in the activity or skills that is being taught
- Certification or equivalent education experience in Early Childhood Development
