If this sounds like you, we want to talk to you today. Our client, is in the fragrance and beauty space and they are seeking an Junior Designer with beauty industry experience to join their team.
You Will
- Support the Creative team with, but not limited to, trend and market research, creative development, product design, and production art layout
- Also work in collaboration with Marketing, Product Development and Commercial Sales departments
- Assist with the creation and refinement of brand identities, logos, packaging designs, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with Product Development and Sourcing to execute on the designed product specifications according to vendor capabilities, budget and client vision
- Support the design team in executing visual assets for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, advertisements, and email campaigns
- Execute prepress tasks, including file preparation, color correction, and proofing, to ensure accurate and high-quality output for packaging, labels, and promotional materials
- Maintain organized files and documentation of production specifications, artwork revisions, and project statuses to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration within the team
- Layout content in client presentations with emphasis on type and image
- Assist with photo retouching, image editing, and other graphic tasks as needed
You Have
- BS/BA in Packaging Design or/and Graphic Design
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience adapting quickly to feedback and making revisions accordingly to meet project deadlines
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to the details
Logistics:
- Hours/Week: 20 hours per week
- Hybrid NYC
- $35 - 40 perhour
