Job Title: Art Conservator
Place of Performance:Denver, Colorado
Duties:
- The objects are to be safely moved to the designated preservation site and protective covers are to be removed where applicable
- Objects shall be free from dust, dirt, grime, detritus, and any other foreign object(s)
- Damages should be repaired and/or minimized
- Stabilize the structure of the models
- Objects are to be protected from exposure to damaging elements and unauthorized access
Requirement:
- Master’s degree in conservation
- Previous experience in similar position(No less than 3 years)
- Knowledge of art restoration and preservation techniques
- Ability to develop and maintain processes for handling artwork
