Project Coordinator
Location: San Mateo, CA or Remote
Role Summary
We're looking for a Program Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our 3-year career-readiness program, PlayStation Career Pathways, with the mission to attract and train talent from historically marginalized communities that are seeking careers in the gaming industry. You'll join Sony Interactive Entertainment's Global DEI & Social Justice team and report to the PSCP Program Lead.
This role will focus on student engagement and overall program management that inspires and enables underrepresented talent for roles within the gaming industry. You'll play a critical role in designing and executing a best-in-class career-readiness program that unites scholarship awards, mentorship opportunities, and career readiness programming that provides the necessary skills and experiences required for careers at PlayStation, our first-party studios, and the video game industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Coordination
• Help maintain and update a project tracking tool at a regular cadence.
• Help ensure that we are meeting project timelines, and nothing is missed.
• Assist with planning and execution of in-person events and experiences with scholars, which may involve travel.
Student tracking / Communications / Support
• Track scholar participation in PSCP opportunities to ensure active engagement and program impact
• Send out regular communications with scholars via Slack according to the communications plan to maintain engagement and provide updates.
• Assist scholars with account access problems by submitting IT tickets and general troubleshooting support.
• Monitor the team email for messages from scholars and respond appropriately.
Education /Certification Management
• Manage coordination of scholar certification opportunities, enhancing career readiness and skill development.
• Assist with AMA sessions by promoting them to scholars via Slack, collecting questions, and facilitating interactive discussions
Mentoring / Coaching
• Manage the Mentorcliq platform, ensuring optimal functionality for user interactions, progress tracking, and resource accessibility
• Develop and maintain a resource library, including training materials, best practices, and success stories to support and inspire participants
• Develop feedback sessions and surveys to evaluate mentoring and coaching outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights to refine and enhance program effectiveness.
• Oversee the matching process and monitor the progress of mentors (Pathways Pros) and mentees (Pathways Scholars), ensuring alignment with program goals

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
