Rapid Strategy is seeking a Junior Unity Developer. Rapid Strategy is an award-winning and African-American owned small business providing cybersecurity services to the private and public sector. This role is expected to be a hybrid role with the majority of the work being done remotely. Some on-site work may be required in the Columbia MD area. In this role, you will help build and enhance the frontend of a cutting-edge spatial cybersecurity tool, designed to provide a visual representation of network data and threats. As a key member of the development team, you will work closely with senior developers and cybersecurity experts to create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that allow users to interact with and understand complex network environments. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the latest in cybersecurity visualization and contribute to a product that leads the way in digital defense.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interactive 3D visualizations using Unity.
- Collaborate with designers and cybersecurity experts to create user-friendly and visually
appealing interfaces.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
- Optimize and debug Unity applications to ensure performance and usability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Unity development and
cybersecurity.
- Be ready to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, recognizing our mission to
protect our clients doesn’t adhere to a traditional 9-5 timeline.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 Years of Experience as a Unity developer or similar role
- Proficiency in Unity and C# programming.
- Basic understanding of 3D graphics, shaders, and animation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in cybersecurity and data visualization is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
