We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Mascot Coordinator to assist team members with supporting live presentation elements, including the production of in-game assets and innovative features that will improve fan experiences, retain ticket holders and fulfill partner objectives.
What You Will Do
- Oversee all internal and external Gorilla appearance bookings including the processing of all payments and performer invoicing.
- Act as stage manager and mascot handler for all Phoenix Suns, small events, and external appearances.
- Assist in the ideation, writing, and production of all Gorilla skits, stunts, videos, and other in-game features including set design and prop creation
- Responsible for maintaining and organizing all Gorilla props, deliveries, vehicles, etc. ensuring everything is in working condition and that a proper maintenance schedule is maintained
What We Need From Our Coordinator
- Live Entertainment and production skills preferred
- Ability to work creatively and communicate those ideas efficiently
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
- Able to work odd hours including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
Experience/ Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two or more years of related experience in sporting events; previous NBA experience highly preferred
