Team17 Digital is a leading, independent video games label and creative partner for developers from all over the world.
At our core, we develop and publish games to bring quality gaming experiences to players across multiple platforms. We focus on premium, rather than free-to-play games, and we've a portfolio of over 100 games, including iconic titles such as Worms, Overcooked, Hell Let Loose and Dredge. The games we publish top the charts on most gaming platforms and we have won many awards from BAFTAs to Golden Joysticks, as well as winning Publisher of the Year at the esteemed Develop Star Awards.
Our company is the largest and longest-standing entity within Team17 Group Plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM market) and includes our sister companies StoryToys and Astragon.
We're looking for a seasoned consumer focussed Head of Marketing. A talented Marketer who will thrive on the responsibility of team leadership, delivering innovative and creative market strategies and ensuring our Marketing function is focussed on driving commercial success.

What you will do...
Strategic Leadership: Lead your team across Brand, Customer Services, PR, Influencer, Community, Digital and Creative Services. Maximising budgets and opportunities for growth and investment.
Team Performance: Identify strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth for our Marketing team. Encourage creativity, ambition, and results-driven collaboration.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other functions throughout the business. Foster collaborative partnerships and an environment where ideas flow freely.
Marketing strategies: Develop and execute Marketing strategies that stand out in a fragmented marketplace and resonate with our target audience and partners.
Brand Impact: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all our channels. Monitor competitor initiatives and consumer behaviour to stay ahead.
Team Building: Leverage your experience to build and nurture a high-performing marketing team.
How you will do it...
Through Experience: leveraging a wealth of experience gained within muti discipline Marketing leadership roles, either within Gaming or an adjacent consumer focussed industry.
Proven Track Record: A career at senior level showcasing strategic marketing success and demonstrable delivery of standout B2C driven marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone who both understands and has significant experience of leading broad-spectrum marketing teams, including, Brand, PR, Influencer, Community, Digital, Customer Services and Creative Services. And native in the most progressive forms of marketing communication (twitch, TikTok etc).
Leadership skills: Through a supportive and motivating approach to building partnerships and developing teams.
Maximising Budgets: You'll possess robust experience in managing marketing budgets, demonstrating commercial acumen and the ability to extract the utmost value from them.

The Interview Process
The interview process for the Head of Marketing role is made up of 4 stages:
- Stage 1 (up to 45 minutes) You'll initially meet with Talent Acquisition. This will be your chance to talk through your experience, whilst also having the opportunity to ask any questions about the Head of Marketing role.
- Stage 2 (60 minutes+) You'll meet some key stakeholders from different disciplines across the business. Providing you an overview of our inter-dependencies and how we collaborate.
- Stage 3 (60 minutes+) For the final stage you'll meet our General Manager, HoHR and Group CEO. This is a presentation stage.
- Stage 4 - meet the team Opportunity to meet the team you would manage and lead.
