Product Manager, Applied AI
PlayStation leverages machine learning to create intelligent and delightful customer experiences on PlayStation consoles, web, PC and mobile devices. Many internal technologies, processes and platforms are employed to effectively bring rich gaming and media experience to our players, and to optimize our internal operational workflows.
The Applied AI Product Manager will play a pivotal role in scaling our use of machine learning techniques, partnering with our internal business and product development teams across the company to develop new machine-learning enabled products and features.
What you'll be doing:
• Partner with cross-functional product development teams to ideate, design and bring AI-enabled features to market
• Develop a deep understanding of internal processes to identify and quantify opportunities for applied AI products
• Contribute to the roadmap for Applied AI product features across our portfolio
• Define and communicate success metrics and risks on AI product features
• Establish SME status relative to Applied AI features and evangelize adoption while setting expectations on current technological capabilities
• Design and facilitate effective proofs-of-concept with clear success criteria
• Engage at a detailed technical level to drive product requirements
• Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements were understood and implemented as requested
• Proactively provide customer and business context to engineering teams
• Exhibit a relentless focus on customer outcomes and value
What we'll be looking for:
• 3-5 years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a focus on simplifying user journeys across workflows in an enterprise environment
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-informed product design and decision making
• Prior experience developing and iterating on machine learning products and features
• Experience working directly with data science and machine learning engineering teams
• Excellent communicator who can articulate product value and set expectations to stakeholders across the organization
• An ambitious self-starter who deals well with ambiguity
• Ability and willingness to work with diverse multinational teams and cultures and occasionally travel
• (Bonus) Industry experience in video games, digital publishing, or enterprise decision support

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
