Junior Graphic Designer

Work with the Designer and Art Director to support the design team with both creative and technical tasks
Create art cads, make art revisions, and help prepare artwork for sampling and production
Must be able to prepare artwork for screenprinters including calling out all treatments and colors, sizing artwork and creating pattern placements.
Create graphics for both boys and girls licensed apparel
Apparel categories include graphic tees, as well as key item fashion pieces such as cosplay hoodies, and sets.
Licensed designs need to keep within licensor guidelines.
Artists need to keep in mind the price point and practicality of producing all artwork created.
Artists should be up to date on trends, and shop the market for the latest and greatest ideas and freshness.

Qualifications

2-3 years of graphic design experience.
Ideal candidate will have experience designing graphics for apparel or a similar industry.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Must be able to work in NYC office
Portfolio of work
