**The Role:**
We're seeking a Social Media Content Producer to join our team! With over 20 million global followers and top NBA engagement, you'll bring fresh creativity to our team. In this role, you'll collaborate across departments, attend games and events, and handle media strategies including scheduling, reporting, and analysis.
**In this role you will:**
- Support the growth of the Thunder's social media presence across various platforms including accounts for the mascot, team shop, Thunder Cares, OKC Thunder entertainers, El Thunder, and G League team.
- Monitor and publish content across social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Track analytics and generate reports to keep the organization and partners updated about social media performance and insights.
- Support the department with communications and coordination on campaigns and deliverables.
- Stay updated on media trends, news, and popular culture.
- Assist in the creation of content for our social audiences, focusing on vertical video, video editing, and photography when needed.
- Learn the Thunder's culture and serve as both a brand ambassador and strategy specialist for our entertainment groups.
- Identify new opportunities to demonstrate our brand value through effective social outreach programs, particularly for global audiences and co-branded or sponsored content.
- Assist with paid advertising campaigns and coordinate related elements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**What you bring to the role:**
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in work or military service, with at least 1 year of professional experience in digital marketing or social media.
- A digital portfolio featuring writing, video, or photography samples is required.
- Skills in social media publishing, videography (pre-production, production, and post-production), and photography are preferred.
- A passion for social media with an understanding of platforms, trends, and tools vital for crafting effective strategies.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively to achieve goals.
- Professional sports experience is beneficial but not required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics, along with tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, and After Effects.
**Additional details:**
A driver's license and clean driving record are required for occasional travel, including overnight trips. The work schedule includes office hours as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays for game nights and events. The primary work location is Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
