You are:
You are an experienced Graphics Illustrator to support the Information Operations Deputy Directorate (J39). The Graphics Illustrator is expected to assist with content development, interviews, photography, and editorial review of material
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and other tools as needed to support professional graphics development.
- Maintain situational awareness of United States policy and events in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility and keep abreast of current developments in the region to coordinate and, as appropriate, produce coordinated content selection for websites.
- The Graphics Illustrator shall ensure all site content has been approved and shall monitor feature and word counts and make recommendations to help achieve high level of customer satisfaction within site content budget constraints.
- The Graphics Illustrator shall contribute to periodic reviews and reports as requested by the COR.

Here's what you need:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Illustration, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience creating digital and print media visual assets.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing illustration skills and style versatility.
- Exceptional design sensibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
Bonus if you:- Graphics Illustratorfluent in Spanish and Portuguese
- Prior experience providing Social Media Editing for classified content.
- Proficientin converting ideas and recommendations for graphics into mock-ups and final versions using various artistic tools.
- Previousexperience working in the J39 supporting Information Operations.
