We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD) with an art direction background and a passion for creating culturally connected, insight driven, award-winning work.
As ACD, you’ll get a chance to lead and manage the strategic direction of all creative work for one of the biggest mobile tech brands. Working seamlessly as a part of a passionate, multi-disciplinary group, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team of creative Copywriters, Art Directors, and Designers in producing head-turning work that drives consumer engagement and builds strong emotional connections. From mentoring creative talent to working closely with our strategy team and creative leads, you’ll have a chance at building and growing relationships while delivering award-winning creative across a wide range of client work.

As ACD (Art), you’ll get a chance to not only come up with ideas, but you’ll be involved in every stage of the creative process —everything from concept to art direction and anything in-between, you’ll tell and sell your work with presentations and creativity that wow’s our clients. Working closely with the VP, Creative Director, Strategy and Account leads you will create and deliver work that’s engaging, on-brief but innovative, immersive, and most importantly: memorable.
You should enjoy ideating big concepts just as much as you love design and wowing people with your exceptional, creative art direction and design skills. Oh, and presenting is your jam —it’s something that comes naturally to you. You’re fearless, passionate, and imaginative, you’ll push the boundaries of strategic storytelling, marketing, and concept creation — building best-in-class experiences that build stronger human connections.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving the ideation and execution of various client programs and brand promotions.
- Interpret and interrogate briefs to create work that wow’s and is strategically driven, thought-provoking and compelling - not just "cool.”
- Confidently present fresh perspective and big idea thinking (that’s strategically grounded) to a larger group or to our clients.
- Develop and maintain a passionate understanding and working knowledge of client's business, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape to inform insightful brand engagements.
- Help manage, mentor, and grow our creative talent while helping lead our art discipline.
- Supervise and craft engaging program activations and digital experiences for product launches, events, and seasonal tent-pole moments.
- Confidently speak to and coach both internal teams and our clients on best-in-class experiences and innovative moments that drive results.
- Collaborate with clients and internal partners: marketing, technology, product, developers etc.
- Ability to bring the teams ideas to life in compelling, cohesive, and impactful presentations that wow our clients and internal team members.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of creative art direction and design experience in an agency or brand space
- Expert proficiency and considerable hands-on experience with Adobe products (Including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to inspire others and sell creative vision.
- Ability to interpret briefs and quickly concept solutions that are strategically driven, compelling and address consumer issues.
- Cultivates and manages relationships with other teams to improve workflows and collaboration.
- Ability to manage the day-to-day of a creative team, track project timelines, and ensure all creative deliverables are met for existing projects.
- Ability to lead a team of creatives to build a positive, trusting, and collaborative team culture.
- Strong grasp of developing and overseeing the art direction and creation of promotions, social, brand campaigns, brand guidelines, online advertising, site content, etc.
- Strong portfolio with examples of recent projects demonstrating creative thinking and flawless execution.
- Experience developing tv and/or online video, and knowledge of the production, casting, and execution of them.
- Experience in motion design, digital design, and digital design programs like Figma, Sketch, etc. a plus.
- Have critical attention to detail (when it comes to design and art direction)
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects and demands at once.
