SkyBox Labs is searching for a Senior Technical Artist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on new, original AAA IP at the early stages of development, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bridge the gap between art and technology.
In this role, you'll focus on developing and maintaining art pipelines and workflows, implementing Blueprints, and utilizing procedural systems to enhance asset creation and optimize content. Your expertise with Unreal Engine 5 will be crucial for achieving high-quality visuals and efficient performance. You will also be given ample opportunities for mentorship, learning, and career development allowing you to continuously expand your skill set and grow both personally and professionally.

A snapshot of your role:
- Develop and maintain art pipelines and workflows across disciplines
- Create and implement Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5
- Utilize procedural systems, including Unreal Procedural Content Generation, to automate asset creation and optimize content generation
- Document workflows and best practices
- Anticipate potential issues and proactively resolve them
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
- Portfolio and/or reel showcasing technical skills
- 5+ years of professional Technical Artist experience in the games industry
- Experienced in Unreal Engine 5 and Maya
- Proficiency in scripting (Blueprint)
- Experience with procedural tools and workflows (e.g., Substance Designer, Houdini)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

The base salary range is $107,000 - $147,000. The stated pay scale reflects the range that SkyBox Labs reasonably expects to pay for this position. Your base salary will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, and experience.
