The Daily
- Design and maintain levels or open-world areas: Craft engaging and immersive environments, ensuring they are well-balanced and visually appealing.
- Implementing game content: Setup enemies, populate gameplay elements and orchestrate events involving NPCs to enhance the player's experience.
- Utilize UE5 Blueprint: Script gameplay events and create interactive gameplay objects using Unreal Engine 5’s blueprint system.
- Present and refine work: Regularly showcase your work to leadership, incorporating feedback swiftly and effectively to improve the quality of the game.
- Engage across disciplines: Work closely with your level design team, as well as story, level art, technical design, animation and programming teams, to ensure cohesive and polished game experiences.
The Essentials
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4/ 5.
- Good understanding of Blueprints (UE4/5).
- Ability to collaborate with a design group and across other disciplines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to take direction and feedback well.
- Highly motivated self-starter and creative thinker with fresh ideas.
- A passion for gaming and game development.
Nice to Have
- Industry experience as well as a related undergraduate degree.
- Pursuing a degree in Game Design or equivalent degree in a creative field strongly preferred. (Art/Illustration/Storytelling).
