We're looking for a Graphic Artist
At Cakes by Lana, the Graphic Artist is a pivotal team member, responsible for crafting visually stunning designs that reflect our brand essence and captivate our audience. This role is vital in upholding a cohesive visual identity and captivating our followers through compelling artwork.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design a range of materials for print and digital platforms including brochures, advertisements, signage, social media graphics, and presentations
- Work closely with the marketing department to create design concepts aligned with project needs
- Harness the power of the Adobe Creative Suite to create top-notch graphic designs
- Contribute innovative ideas and creative input during brainstorming and concept development
- Maintain brand uniformity across all visual elements
- Juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, industry technologies, and best practices
- Revise designs based on feedback, ensuring the final graphics and layouts align with our brand identity
- Craft preliminary drafts and present concepts to internal teams
- Collaborate with external printers and vendors to ensure precise and high-quality design production
- Participate in team meetings and idea generation sessions
- Undertake miscellaneous design projects as required
- Contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines and design standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent field
- Demonstrable graphic design expertise showcased through a robust portfolio
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Proven track record of creating visually striking and impactful designs
- Thorough comprehension of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with print and digital design best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines concurrently
- Keen awareness of current graphic trends and technologies
- Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities
- Experience in web design is advantageous
- Attentive to detail and committed to precision
- Adaptable to receiving and implementing feedback constructively
- Robust problem-solving aptitude
- Understanding of production and rendering methods
