What You Will be Working On as a Management Accountant
We are now seeking a solution-focused Management Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing accurate management accounts, strategic insights, and decision support to enhance the overall financial performance of the business. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for analysing financial data, managing sales contracts, monitoring costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
Your Day-To-Day
- Preparation of journals and accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Reviewing and investigating variances between the actual results and budgeted/forecasted results
- Management of the supplier payments process with support from the finance assistants
- Reviewing the monthly payroll workings and ensuring payment is made on time
- Ensuring the accuracy of invoice general ledger codings for overheads and balance sheet items.
- Reconciliation of all relevant entities balance sheets with reconciling items investigated and resolved on a timely basis
- Preparation of monthly reporting to key stakeholders within the business
- Support Statutory audits for relevant entities
- Assisting in the Tax Computations for relevant entities
- Identify and implement improvements within the financial control team
- Project work as and when required
What You'll Need
We are seeking a proactive and solution-focused individual who demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and actively seeks opportunities to enhance and streamline processes within our dynamic team.
Technical experience required includes:
- Qualified or Part Qualified (Exam Finalist) ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent IT system skills, in particular MS Excel
- Experience of NetSuite and SmartView would be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial and agile environment
- Experience working in a flexible, employee empowering work environment
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset

The Interview Process
The interview process for the Management Accountant role is made up of 2 stages:
- Screening call (20 minutes) - A member of the TA team will call you to discuss your application, a brief summary of your experience and run over the expectations of the role.
- Video interview (60 minutes) - You'll meet two senior members of our finance team who will discuss your background, technical experience and future aspirations, along with allowing the platform for you to ask any questions you have regarding the business or role.
