Job Description ROSEWOOD is looking for a Jr. Creative to assist with the creative development and execution for the VALORANT Esports account. This role is fast-paced and requires quick execution and superb project management. The ideal candidate has strong design skills and is conceptual with a passion for making an impact on culture. They should have a proven track record of collaborating with teammates, communicating effectively with internal teams, and meeting tight deadlines across multiple-priority projects. Interest in gaming and esports is nice to have, but not mandatory. This is a remote only position, but candidates must be comfortable with working PST hours. What Your Day to Day will Look Like Develop and execute the most attention-grabbing social creative templates and content to accomplish business objectives on brand, on strategy, and on time. Ensure detail-oriented quality control with all concepts and versions. Take direction from Creative Directors and Associate Creative Directors to execute creative deliverables to accomplish business objectives. Manage daily creative requests and set up cross-department team members with appropriate briefs and feedback processes. Partner with strategy, editors and other team members to bring creative executions to life. Can and willing to capture content via iPhone, camera devices for Instagram Stories and other short-form content Work closely with Creative leads to prioritize requests and identify opportunities. Employ best practices across all work and media platforms. Be curious. Research and leverage insights and strategy to inform the development of the creative concepts. Stay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all art and marketing trends, as well as cultural events in an effort to bring fresh ideas, sharing with peers and the broader team. Relentlessly develop and enhance art direction skill sets, as well as inspire and build with other creatives. Continually survey, discuss, and share art, culture, and trends with the organization. Qualifications & Skills 0-3 years of developing strategic creative for brands. Basic design and concepting skills. Good grasp of how to visually express brand messaging in a visually enticing way. Ability to collaborate with other creatives and/or members of the team. Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for social-first storytelling and ability to work across all mediums. Proficient in Adobe CS (including Premiere and After Effects), Figma, and Google Suite. Familiar with short form content creation, i.e. TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Experience with iPhone cinematography and iOS functions. Desire to grow and challenge yourself. Ability to maintain a key eye for detail when designing a high volume of assets under strict deadlines. Passionate about culture within gaming and beyond gaming whether that’s music, entertainment, technology, or sports. Able and willing to work unusual hours depending on need and project. Able to travel 15-30% of the year to client events.
