Under the guidance of the Design Director, StudioH, this position will contribute to the successful creation of exhibit designs within Studio H.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with a cross functional team to develop designs that are compelling solutions that meet and exceed the client’s expectations
- Produce creative presentations of exhibit structures and components for trade shows and events using related presentation software
- Work with the client and sales team to define the goals of each project
- Communicate with external customer when supported by Sales, Senior Designer & Design Director
- Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Create, evaluate and analyze new design ideas
- Understanding of exhibit design process from graphic design, conceptual sketching to 3 dimensional renderings, specifying materials and working with production to maintain the integrity of the design
- Ensure the quality and completeness of designs and deliverables within established deadlines
- Collaborate with design, sales and engineering/estimating to deliver compelling solutions that meet and exceed client expectations
- Prepare the creative portion of sales presentation material; ensure the quality and completeness of designs and deliverables
- Possess the ability to work with project teams and set objectives (2D and 3D)
- Other duties as assigned
Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field required
- Ability to operate under time constraints, influence design and lead large projects.
- Ability to interface with clients and make presentations and translate client feedback.
- Experience in creation of marketing/experiential event concepts preferred
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and/or exceeding deadlines and goals.
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to learn 3D Studio Max
Physical Requirements
- Remaining in a sedentary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- The ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking
Compensation
- Starting at $55k
- This position is open for entry to mid-level experience
