Description
You will work on creating an environment concept for a live game.
Environment Concept Artist needs to be able to successfully produce any type of environmental art assigned to the artist. You will be in the pivotal role in the pre-production phase of making the environment of a live game. Create beautiful visuals, mood and color of a location following the artistic direction of the live game. Be diligent to deliver the quality following art guidelines and style from the Lead Artist, and also be efficient to follow the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high quality, stylized concept art that communicates the visual look of the environment with various color, light & mood for pre-production
- Ability to create different environments based on the location requirement that match the live game’s style
- Design various props & layout of a location for production
- Work closely with the Art Director & Lead and be collaborative with the team execute the task
- Research and gather relevant reference to create the artworks
- Iterate & do revisions of the artworks based on the feedbacks & reporting regularly to the Lead following schedule
- Support Junior Artists helping them to deal with tasks when needed
- Ability to export and manage assets following the art requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong portfolio showing examples of environment concept artworks
- Good knowledge of Photoshop and texture creation
- Good basic art skills in art fundamentals (colour, composition and form)
- Passionate about games
- 3D software knowledge is a plus
- Management experience - handle mass production assets
