At Paradox Development Studio, we create world-leading grand strategy games that captivate players for hundreds of hours. We’re now seeking an experienced UI Artist to join our team in Stockholm and help bring our bold, new (non-historical!) IP to life.

You will be the bridge between our UX and 2D art team, and be responsible for implementing the UX wireframe designs into the game engine, making sure the UI looks great, and is accessible and easy to understand for the player.
You will help develop the overall look of our UIs with a meticulous eye for detail, high quality artwork and strong knowledge of UX. You will work closely with the Art Director in shaping the overall vision for our game, and be a driver for visual improvements and accessibility.
You will collaborate closely with UX and content designers to ensure cohesive execution of UIs that are easily digested by new players.
You will also help craft our game art by creating UI elements, art assets, art styles and any supporting artwork that our games may require. You will have the opportunity to work with animation, and bring both original and modern takes on UI.
Skills we're searching for...
- 3+ years of experience creating user interfaces from concept, through prototype to final
- Experience with scripting and markup languages such as Javascript and HTMLStrong knowledge of UX to facilitate collaboration with our UX team
- Proven skill in creating high quality modern UI art from scratch
- Articulate in contextualizing decisions, communicating ideas and giving feedback
- Comfortable using English in spoken and written form
