E lsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Expert VFX Programmer to join our team and help shape the foundation of our next-generation AAA experiences on our new I P.
In this role, you will drive the direction of VFX for our game to ensure that we deliver an exceptional experience to our future play ers. You will have a strong influence on the technical roadmap , and you will drive the d esign, implement ation , and tools needed to realize this ambition. You will work closely with engineers and content creators to drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration by inspiring those around you with your technical expertise and clear vision for success.
You’ll help us by…
- Taking ownership of our VFX system and its future direction. This includes designing runtime systems, data pipeline s, and custom authoring tool s for our proprietary game engine.
- Collaborating closely with VFX artists and other programmers to design, prototype, and implement new features.
- Developing and communicating a technical vision and roadmap that aligns with project goals, inspiring and guiding your peers and stakeholders.
- Working with the content team to meet project requirements while staying within performance and memory budgets.
- Working with stakeholders to translate creative ideas into software.
- Collaborate with peers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
You’re awesome because you have…
- 8 + years of professional programming experience.
- Strong experience working with rendering and GPUs.
- S ignificant background in runtime profiling, runtime/memory usage optimization, multi-threading, etc.
- Significant proficiency in C++, 3D math, and graphical algorithms and techniques.
- Ability to anticipate challenges, propose innovative solutions, and ensure long-term sustainability of systems.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.
- A strong desire in writing clean, maintainable, portable, and optimized code.
- Major recognition in your field(s) of expertise .
- Contributed significantly to multiple shipped AAA titles, demonstrating leadership in delivering high-quality results.
- Experience programming on game consoles.
