In EA's Global Affairs team, we empower other EA teams through our advocacy, engagement, and partnerships. We are looking for someone to join our Legal Assistant team supporting our Legal Asia Pacific team. As a Legal Assistant, you will perform administrative tasks supporting the Legal Asia Pacific team, junior paralegal tasks supporting the Legal team, and the US based central Legal Operations team. You will be based at our offices in Seoul, Korea, and we support hybrid work. You will report to the Senior Manager of Legal Operations based in Redwood Shores, California, United States.

Role Responsibilities
• Billing and Financial Tasks: Track external counsel invoices, maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile team budget. Experience with Legal Tracker (plus).
• Administrative Support: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings and help organize business and team events. Prepare agendas and take minutes during meetings.
• Document Management: Manage files, ensuring all documents are labeled and stored.
• Legal Documentation: Help prepare legal documents for approval and signing using legal software, tracking status of contracts, preparing and maintaining legal database, and facilitate other documentation process.
• Corporate Secretarial Responsibility: Ensure the smooth functioning of our corporate governance and compliance activities by assisting counsel in preparing and documenting board meetings of our legal entities in Asia.
• Compliance Assistance: Support counsel in ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
General Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Given the nature of the role, there is a high expectation of integrity.
• English is the primary working language. Other Asian language skills are beneficial.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, principles and practices.
• Work with different cultures and a variety of business situations.
• High-level proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Google suite skills.
• Experience with Legal Tracker, and contract management software (plus).
