Atlas Creative is a creative gaming studio specializing in Fortnite Creative and Roblox experiences. We partner with some of the world's largest brands to bring their brand to life in the metaverse. We have partnered with the NBA, Hulu, iHeartRadio, Target, Alienware, Microsoft, Jordan and many others to create engaging, completely unique experiences inside Fortnite.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Game Designer to oversee our game design in Roblox. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the game’s strategic direction and ensuring the team is properly resourced for whatever needs. This includes providing best practice insights and applying proper game design principles to how the game is structured in order to ensure a successful launch and growth trajectory on the platform.

A few things you’ll own include:

Game Design Planning
Design games from the ground up, including core game loops & general aesthetic
Determine core mechanics
Dictating needs across SFX, VFX and animations
Leading weekly Creative Connects with the team
Project Management
Ensuring the team has proper resource allocation across all core development needs
Manage communication across the team
With support from a project manager, set timeline and weekly milestone deliverables
Work closely with the creative team to ensure the game meets design and quality standards
Develop and maintain project documentation, including production schedules, design documents, and project status updates
Work with marketing to develop and manage the games post-release roadmap

Who We’re Looking For

MUST HAVE GAME DESIGN EXPERIENCE
Strong preference for those with Roblox and or UEFN/Fortnite experience
3+ years serving as a game designer in a studio environment
Leadership and strong communication skills. Ability to inspire teammates, motivate others and achieve team deadlines.
Experience owning game design and overseeing the development of the game to ensure the game follows the initial path it was intended to take
Knowledge / passion for video games (and specifically Roblox)
Excellent organizational and analytical skills to deliver quality projects within tight deadlines
Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
Creative, pragmatic, and able to find the best solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure game success
