The Role:

The New Business Designer is a critical role responsible for communicating McCann Worldgroup stories to potential clients in clear, compelling, memorable, and beautiful ways. This role sits at the center of the New Business universe and ensures pitch design that telegraphs a story and narrative to make our pitches more engaging and effective. We want a Powerpoint and Keynote wizard with impeccable design taste and the ability to craft inspiring presentation decks. Someone who can work efficiently across diverse projects and deliver on tight deadlines. The designer will collaborate closely with our leadership and creative teams to translate their ideas into effective and compelling visual solutions.

What You Will Do:

The New Business Designer for McCann Worldgroup will be required to:

Manage and Develop world-class design solutions for a variety of internal and external new business projects including pitch decks, RFI responses, pitch theater assets, and more.
Apply the fundamentals of best practice story structure and narratives to presentations
Champion the McCann Worldgroup brand in presentation visuals and balance McCann Worldgroup brand visuals with client brand visuals as required.
Generate presentation-ready files while diligently following agency design guidelines.
Manage assets in an organized system including; file names, folder management, back-up/archiving, ect.
Accurately present data, process, creative, and strategy ideas in a compelling way
Understands how to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic creative environment
Coordinate closely with project managers and the New Business Team to prioritize deliverables.
Think and act proactively. Be a problem solver, not a problem finder.

Who You Will Be:

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:

Key Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in art, design, and/or visual communication preferred.
1-3 years of design and storytelling experience, ideally in new business environments.
Proven understanding of composition, typography, and layout.
Proven history of fostering positive professional relationships.
Ability to work effectively with C-suite executives.
Courage to defend creative and design decisions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, shifting deadlines, and fluid priorities.
Dogged determination for doing things the right way and resourceful to get things done.
Relentless eye for detail.
Advanced proficiency in Powerpoint, KeyNote, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design applications as needed.
Ferocious curiosity about the world.

Salary Range: $65k - $80k
