Job Description:
Team Member of the Site Engineering team, reliably ensure ongoing operations of all site infrastructure, coordinate and execute with other technology teams on designing and executing the technology strategy for Technicolor Group. The engineer will assist in supporting and maintaining the infrastructure components, and Datacenter activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Head of Technology and Regional Head of Technology to lead the Technology Infrastructure strategy and execution.
• Responsible for Datacentre and End User support operations catering to all Infrastructure services.
• Manage deployment, maintenance, and support of all Operations systems, workstation hardware, and software to ensure continuous delivery of technology services.
• Technology assets reconfiguration and movements as per show requirement.
• Validate routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot end user issues, provide user training for reoccurring issue avoidance.
• Participate in technology incident troubleshooting, identification, communication and resolution.
• Support annual preventive maintenance schedules, participate in off-hours maintenance, upgrades and installation for systems when required.
• Assist in security incident management and adhere to IT security protocols.
• Align, Comply and Support client specific show wise requirements.
• Collaborate with Seniors for all planned projects implementation and delivery.
• Performing hardware, firmware, and software upgrades.
• Managing Flame, Baselight and other VFX tools.
• Media Industry experience will be an added benefit.
Qualifications
• Minimum Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience working in IT Infrastructure
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux (Centos, Rocky or RedHat) based environments
• Extensive Hands-on experience on configuring, managing and administration of multi-vendor OS and hardware
• Understanding of Storage and services like NFS, DFS and SMB.
• Added benefit experience with Virtualization and Containerization (e.g., Nutanix, VMware, Virtual Box).
• knowledge of network services on a multi-vendor network architecture.
• Good understanding of server/workstation hardware solutions from Dell or HP
• Knowledge of Flame , Baselight and VFX colour grading systems, image processing applications and workflow tools.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Familiar with AV and Collaboration Tools operability.
