Role Description: Art Assistant (Part-Time, On-Site)
Location: Yogarts Experience, Atlanta, GA
The Art Assistant will support art sessions at Yogarts Experience by assisting group members with craft, painting, drawing, and modeling activities. This role involves fostering a creative and supportive environment during artistic workshops.
Responsibilities
• Assist participants with various art activities, ensuring they have the necessary materials and guidance.
• Maintain a calm and encouraging atmosphere, especially when working with children.
• Support the lead artist or session facilitator in setting up and cleaning up the workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the art experience for participants.
Qualifications
Required:
• Student in an art-related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for art, creativity, and working in a team setting.
• Experience with art-related projects.
• Patience and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor, particularly with children.
• Fluency in a language other than English.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
• Ability to pass an official background check (minimum of 6 months screening).
• Certification in First Aid.
• Have some specialization in caring for children with special needs.
