Responsibilities
Set the example of excellence and compliance to procedure and policy and ensure that co-workers are staying on task; utilizing time management to complete tasks in a timely fashion; producing quality results in keeping with expectations; communicating any personnel, safety, or property concerns to the appropriate person.
Use of power spray equipment
Experience using scissor and boom lifts
Build scaffolding when needed
Match and mix paint to job specifications
Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
Tidy the work area once the painting project is complete
Fill holes and cracks with putt, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
Qualifications
Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
Applicant must have valid driver's license
We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates
