Job Description
Artistic and Technical Responsibilities:
- Ensure artwork meets quality standards and aligns with direction from Leads/Supervisors.
- Maintain visual consistency and ensure smooth integration of assets into the game.
- Identify and report visual/gameplay issues; provide constructive feedback and solutions.
- Estimate, deliver, and delegate tasks effectively while meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Create, review, and update 2D documentation; master required tools and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with producers, leads, and team members; contribute to ideation and brief development.
- Actively engage in team discussions, sharing ideas and supporting overall creative direction.
Contribution in Management:
- Thorough and organized, allowing you to work with goals and to see a project through to its end within given deadlines
- Give necessary training and guidance to junior artists in your team
- Support to create workshops and seminars and to share knowledge and experiences
- Competent at coaching and training other artists
- Ability to follow set graphical development guidelines, project workflow & creative processes.
Reporting:
- Report your tasks status to your supervisors or producers when required
Qualifications
Knowledge:
- Expert in Photoshop with strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
- Solid background in traditional/digital arts or concept art
- Strong grasp of art fundamentals: composition, lighting, color theory, anatomy, etc.
- Passionate about video games and familiar with game development workflows
- Skilled in optimizing and improving visual assets for games
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the field
Skills:
- Strong English communication skills; able to read and respond to emails confidently
- Advanced in 2D art: hand-drawing, digital painting, and illustration
- Skilled in following and adapting to various style guidelines and creative workflows
- Capable of research, creating documents, giving feedback, and leading discussions
- Organized and self-driven, with accurate time estimation and task prioritization
- Able to work independently, follow briefs, and collaborate well with others
- Problem-solver with basic leadership skills and a proactive approach to improving efficiency
Attitude:
- Show a strong commitment to the teams and to the company, and be willing to work hard to complete the tasks on time
- Demonstrate flexibility of thinking and accept feedback from others for improvement, while being able to ask for and give quality feedback
