Summary
As a Creative Director, you'll oversee the design and visual impact of all marketing materials, products, and digital content across multiple channels. Our ideal candidate will have grown up immersed in the ever-evolving landscape of social media and shifting consumer buying habits. This person understands the nuances of modern digital communication and marketing, making them well-equipped to connect with contemporary audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive creative strategy that aligns with our brand vision and business goals
- Plan, develop, and execute creative advertisements and campaigns across multiple channels
- Oversee the design and visual impact of all marketing materials, products, and digital content
- Ensure all designs are visually compelling, brand-consistent, and effectively communicate our message
- Build, protect, and evolve our brand identity through strategic planning and creative execution
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging across all platforms and materials
- Work closely with executives to translate strategic vision into tangible creative outputs
- Oversee the entire creative process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Direct and oversee product photoshoots, ensuring high-quality, aesthetically pleasing images
- Utilize trend intelligence and market knowledge to inform design decisions and keep the brand relevant
- Adapt creative strategies based on current market trends and consumer preferences
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of creative experience in marketing, social media, and digital advertising
- A Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands is also considered
- Extensive knowledge of effective and ineffective strategies in DTC eCommerce
- Willingness to engage in collaborative dialogue with the founders to explore and implement innovative creative ideas
- Proven ability to create visually striking branded content for physical products and lifestyle brands
- A robust and impressive portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects
