We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr Motion Graphic Designer to assist team members with the conceptual, creative motion design, and production of material requested by departments across the entire Player 15 Group organization (Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns, and FootPrint Center).
What You Will Do:
• As part of the in-house creative and motion design team, you will develop motion graphics to be on display for events and games for all properties across the Player 15 Group to create incredible fan engagement and promote an amazing in-arena experience.
• Follow brand standards for each property to develop creative that is on brand, meeting all requirements, and are delivered on time.
• Contribute to the design process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions, contributing to the overall success of the motion team.
• Projects include but are not limited to: developing content for the in-arena show during games, pre-game, and non-gameday events, developing season templates, creating Mogrts for video assets, supporting large brand initiatives on set design and other assets.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines.
What We Need From Our Associate Designer:
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
• Cinema4D, Blender, and 3D design platforms
• Deep understanding and ongoing curiosity of design trends
• Experience with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, etc.
• Strong team player able to collaborate with a team of creatives.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and clearly able to articulate design ideas.
• Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic videography/production/still graphics skills.
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of Creative Design experience in sports or events industry, agency, or related in-house environment
• Provide strong portfolio or demo reel.
• Extremely detail oriented and adherence to strict file structure guidelines
• Capable of following print specifications and digital requirements for constructing files.
• The ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communications, as well as strong organizational skills
• The ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
