Our Boston based AEC client is looking for an onsite Graphic Designer starting immediately; the hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 930AM-330PM, and this role is 100% onsite and will be six months--there is free parking available at the location. Projects will include working on proposals, presenations and marketing collateral.
- Develop proposal layouts and client presentations for specific marketing pursuits while working with the Marketing team.
- Participate to the proposal or presentation team, as needed, to support large efforts
- Develop graphics to support proposal and presentation efforts
- Develop client-focused qualifications packages
- Fully understand and adhere to branding standards for the firm
- Provide technical and artistic guidance and support to marketing team to encourage innovation and a competitive edge in our work output
- Adhere to marketing’s standards for graphics processes, quality, delivery and organization
- Maintain standardized InDesign and Word template(s)
- Maintain content libraries
- Maintain a graphics library for pulling customizable graphics into proposals quickly and easily
- Maintain a standardized graphics file storage system that is accessible and easy to use for all marketing staff
- Collaborate with marketing staff at all levels, Corporate Communications, and firm-wide design teams (Technical Design, CorpCom, Planning Artists) to support the collaborative use of technical graphics in proposals and presentations
- Maintain expertise in software and technical skills to be a department-wide leader in page layout and visual communication
- Stay abreast of Adobe software or other graphics software developments and updates
Qualifications:
- 2+ year's experience working as a Graphic Designer
- Experience working on projects such as proposals and presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, advertising, communications or related field.
- Experience and demonstrated skill using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and PowerPoint.
- Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
- AEC experience is a huge plus here
