Where you come in.
As an Associate Technical Designer you will be an integral part of the product team and have a huge impact on developing game-changing, fit-perfected products to a category of women that is underserved. This position is primarily focused on technical design, but also has a strong base in pattern making.
Responsibilities:
- Track to seasonal deadlines according to development calendar
- Assist in seasonal trend research for new product launches
- Maintain color CADs of Core and Seasonal linesheets
- Create detailed flat sketches for initial proto development
- Initiate production tech packs/BOMs for overseas factories
- Attend and participate in weekly fittings. Ensure changes/updates are executed within tech packs
- Review fit, PP and TOP samples to ensure design intent/standards are met
- Review and comment on factory branding layouts with precision to ensure submits are standardized
- Receive and comment on all lab dips, strike offs and bulk submits
- Manage physical fabric, trim and sample library in NY office
Requirements

- Passionate about Pepper's mission to redefine body standards
- 3-4 years experience designing intimate apparel
- Intimates and Lingerie experience
- Solid understanding of lingerie fabrics, garment construction, and fit
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear communicator with effective presentation skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Valid Passport
