Senior Manager - Management Planning & Operations (Global Partner Development & Relations [GPDR])

Role Overview:
The Global Business Strategy & Planning (GBSP) team sits within Sony Interactive Entertainment's (SIE) Global Partner Development & Relations (GPDR) division and ensures GPDR creates and achieves its business goals that align with the wider SIE strategy and delivers its financial and people commitments.
The team has three key responsibilities: building GPDR's strategy and business plans, analysing GPDR's business performance, and managing GPDR's business operation.

The Manager, GPDR Management Planning & Operations leads the effort of GPDR-wide planning, communications, facilitation and education, project management and content creation to drive a cohesive, inclusive and energised organisation.
What you'll be doing:
• Manage GPDR's executive meeting and communications cadence from planning to execution
• Support the day-to-day business operations of GPDR to help deliver the division's annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
• Enable the creation of a healthy GPDR organisation set for the future
• Own rhythm of business governance calendars to ensure GPDR delivers its key annual obligations on time, collaborating with contributors to maintain its accuracy and sharing regularly for wider visibility
• Oversee programs that support the work of GPDR and the Business Strategy & Planning team, mapping out frameworks, managing workback schedules, and setting and achieving delivery milestones
• Lead the creation of communications and presentation materials for Executive meetings, working with others to collate assets, and ensuring the end product has a clear and concise narrative, appropriate for the audience
• Own and maintain governance of GPDR Management Committee, SIE Global Management Committee, GPDR monthly townhall, Executive top-to-top partner meetings, GPDR OKR tracking
• Lead end to end project management of GPDR Sync Weeks, quarterly leadership offsites, townhalls and social events, coordinating and programming in partnership with SVP, GPDR LT and HR, ensuring inputs and outputs are of the highest impact
• Integrate the GPDR annual objectives program in day-to-day business, ensuring all verticals understand its importance, are aligned to its structure, and are measured against it
• Administrate GPDR leadership and divisional meetings to track decisions, drive action items and cascade information to teams directly
• Oversee OPEX and headcount tracking, ensuring both are managed within Corporate Planning guidelines for GPDR and GBSP functions
• Lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional counterparts across Financial Planning & Operations, Commercial Finance, HR and others where appropriate
• Lead the program for new starter onboarding, ensuring consistent materials and processes
• Work with HR to define and facilitate effective talent development and recognition program
• Manage the GPDR Information Hub on SharePoint consistently reviewing and updating it to ensure its relevance and accuracy
• Lead GPDR's ongoing review of its Vision & Mission and key behaviours, ensuring each remains relevant, central to our business operation, and well publicised
• Collaborate with HR in owning GPDR's planning and execution of the GLINT Employee Survey program, overseeing adoption, engagement and completion
• Passionately contribute to, and advocate for, SIE's DE&I program, evangelising its importance within GPDR and representing the division in cross-functional discussions
You'll be comfortable with:
• Creating and managing high impact programs from end-to-end that affect large cohorts of internal colleagues, ensuring timelines are realistic and delivered against
• Working self-sufficiently on projects and deliverables, sometimes within ambiguous circumstances and in fast turnaround times
• Producing high quality presentation materials with a clear and concise narrative, suitable for wide and senior audiences
• Building and leading relationships with internal teams operating as the expert for your business area
• Proactively evangelising the value and importance of the work of our team and division, ensuring appropriate buy-in
• Managing internal Sharepoint sites for investment submissions within corporate governance and for employee information documentation about the division and its operation
• Executing divisional and leadership meetings/events/socials and motivating engagement and attendance
• Presenting confidently in divisional settings, leading meetings, driving the agenda, ensuring meetings achieve objectives and start and finish promptly
• Drafting executive communications and review with HR and senior leadership
What we're looking for:
Project/Program Mgmt
• Proven senior years of experience in project management, business planning, business operations or similar/focussing on employee engagement iniatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required – must be able to communicate with a wide variety of audiences across business verticals and up to executive level
• Robust organisational and project management capabilities, including the ability to create, manage, and track complex timelines with inter-related dependencies
• Experience in establishing and developing programs involving multiple internal functions, preferably at global scale
• Change management skills to work through complex challenges with both business and employee needs in mind
• Proven experience in using data-driven insights to support the business by offering appropriate solutions
• Strong collaborative working style, with an execution- and result-oriented focus
• A long-term strategic planner able to identify and adjust short- and medium-term workflows accordingly at pace
Engagement
• Experience in leading DE&I strategy initiatives and employee engagement planning is advantageous
• Outstanding program delivery experience in recognising and promoting talent across the business
• Demonstrable experience creating healthy organisations and fostering a positive team culture
• Interest in gaming, gamer culture, digital entertainment and consumer electronics is advantageous but not essential
• Experience of working in a global environment an advantage
